This week, we have been looking at dinosaur habitats and alongside Miss Gill the children decided to design their own dinosaur habitats using the loose parts.
Recently we have introduced loose parts play to the children. Loose parts are open-ended resources that allow children to use the materials in any way that they can imagine. It allows for more creativity and imagination than they would achieve using plastic toys. Loose parts play is fun and engaging for the children and allows them to develop higher levels of critical thinking and creativity.
