This afternoon our parents came into school to help us with a Paddington lesson.
We began by playing a picture guessing game, thinking about the relevance of the pictures to our storybook. We then watched a TV chef video to give us some tips. After this we practiced our instructions by telling our parents how to make a marmalade sandwich (Paddington's favourite) Finally our parents filmed us as we became TV chefs to make our own, we were even better than Mary Berry! At the end of the session we read a chapter of the Paddington novel with our parents. It was lovely to have you all in, thank you once again for your engagement!
