Good morning,

There appears to be some confusion surrounding our class treat taking place on Thursday, so I would like to clarify how this will work.

As outlined at the start of the year, children are expected to read at home for a minimum of 30 minutes each week (3 times per week for 10 minutes). This allows them to complete their Accelerated Reader quiz in school. Each child’s quiz percentage then determines how long they spend taking part in the treat.

As it is Christmas, I have lowered the target score to 85% in order to give more children the opportunity to achieve the full treat time. Please be reassured that every child in the class will receive a good proportion of the treat time and that all children will enjoy a hot chocolate.

Children should come to school in their normal school uniform on Thursday.
