I hope you have all had a fantastic break and are feeling refreshed and ready for another exciting half term!

 

Class Gallery Updates

There have been some pictures added to the Gallery area on our class page from some of the fun activities we took part in during Autumn 1. Please take a look, the children worked so hard and had a brilliant time!

 

Our Big Question

This half term, our Big Question is ‘What makes the Earth angry?’

We’ll be exploring volcanoes, earthquakes and natural disasters.

On our Koala Class page, in the Big Question area, you’ll find this term’s Knowledge Organiser, a physical copy will also be sent home this week. Other important information about the learning that will take place this half term can be found on the class page. Please take a look to see what your child will be discovering.

 PE Days

This half term, our PE day will be on Fridays.

Please ensure that your child brings their PE kit to school on this day each week.

 

 Weekly Homework Expectations

Just a quick reminder.

To support your child’s learning at home, please ensure the following tasks are completed each week:

TT Rockstars: A minimum of 15 minutes (including at least one Studio attempt).

Spellings: A minimum of 15 minutes (complete 3 assignments on EdShed).

Reading: A minimum of 30 minutes per week.

 

 Pre-Learning Task

This half term’s Pre-Learning Task is to create a fact file about volcanoes.

Your child should include facts about three famous volcanoes.

Due date: Monday 15th December

Merits will be awarded for creativity and effort!
