Dear Parents

Over the Summer, Alfreton Library will be running a range of events from Lego Clubs, Crafty Saturdays and Game Clubs for all of the family to enjoy.

They are also taking part in the DCC Library Reading Challenge - sign up in any Derbyshire Library and your child just has to read 6 books - one a week - to win a medal and a special certificate over the holidays.

If you haven't yet returned your child's library form then you have until tomorrow before we break up please. Any completed forms will be dropped off at Alfreton Library at the end of the day and library cards that are uncollected over the Summer will be collected and given out in September. With the library registration you are able to sign your child up to the app 'Borrow Box' - this online app gives them access to a huge range of e-books and audio books, for free, as well as popular magazines too.
