Meerkats - Christmas Stockings20 December 2024 (by Mr Scott (meerkats)) |
Meery Christmas!
Over the last couple of weeks we have been busy sewing, sticking and making our Christmas stockings.
Our D & T project this half-term was to sew and make a pouch. We designed our Christmas stockings and over the last couple of weeks we have been busy elves sewing, sticking and making them. We showed some super sewing skills and decorated our stockings with cut felt shapes and Christmas fabric cuttings. Our projects look amazing and are a wonderful Christmassy decoration. We hope Santa puts a present inside!

A few days ago pupils took home their knowledge organisers and pre-learning task for our next Big Question, ‘What would it be like to live in Japan?’. Details of the origami challenge are also on the website homework page which you can now find in the resources section. Tasks should be handed in by January 17th for dojos, merits and possibly a prize. Details of our planning and vocabulary for our next Big Question will be published at the end of our Christmas break.
We wish our meerkat mob and their families a very Merry (or should that be Meery?!) Christmas and a well-deserved break. Pupils have worked hard this term and produced some lovely work. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you in 2025!
Mr Scott & Miss Fenlon.
