Please follow the link below to complete the survey about setting up a food pantry in Stonebroom for the community and surrounding areas.
This survey is designed to gauge the need, likely use and volunteer support of a "Food Pantry" in Stonebroom and the surrounding area.
A Food Pantry, is not a Food Bank.
It is a Membership Contribution scheme whereby ANYONE can become a member in order to access the food and goods it offers.
It would be open for a limited time and one day/number of days per week to distribute the food it receives, mainly from FareShare.
The Membership Contribution would be around £5 per visit and in return goods to the value of around £20-30 would be collected.
Membership would be limited to one per household, perhaps two per larger households or where a specific need was identified.
