Mary Anning film

 As we have been learning all about fossils as part of our science lessons, we though it would be great if we made a film about the greatest fossil finder in history, Mary Anning.

Animal bones

Today we explored some real animal bones to help us answer the questions, 'do all animals have the same bones?' as part of our Big Question work.

It was very interesting and Boris (our class skeleton) helped us identify some of the bones that were a bit trickier to pin down than others.

Natural Skeletons

We used all our wonderful science knowledge that we have already learnt today by creating natural skeletons. We first gathered the resources and then planned what we would use for the different bones, by looking at their shape.

We then labelled the important bones and their function.
