Fire Safety Visit.
Chris from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue came to our class today to make sure we all knew how to stay fire safe. We discussed how the fire service keeps us safe in many different ways and what we can do to stay safe when swimming and in home and school. We watched a DVD clip about the importance of a fire plan and talked about lots of ways to stay safe and keep safe. Cady even demonstrated Stop, Drop And Roll for us! Chris gave us some homework to check our smoke alarms at home and ask our parents about testing them. Be prepared for pupils to quiz you about your fire safety at home!
