This morning we had some special visitors in school.
This morning John Kaye (Mrs Kaye's husband), Gary from Mrs Kaye's diving club and Rachel from Mrs Kaye's choir, visited our 'Star of the Week' assembly. Gary presented Mrs Nash (our Chair of Governors) with a cheque for £1189 which the diving club have collected. This money will be used to buy a new sound system in the hall. Rachel then presented Mrs Nash with the donations given at Mrs Kaye's memorial service.
John spoke to the children about how much the school meant to Mrs Kaye and that he could see for himself how special we are.
As a school we would like to thank everybody for their generosity.
