This morning we celebrated science morning, when each child took part in a carousel of scientific investigations, experiments and learning which included: making and learning about fossils, labeling the parts of a plant, exploring forces by flying rocket bottles (although the rockets did get stuck in the trees TWICE- ask Mr Scott), making cotton wheel cars, making parachutes, learning about different forces, making spinners, healthy eating, learning about human organs and also taking part in an ice experiment.

The children were asked, 'What is science?'   Please ask your child this question. Hopefully they will answer that science is the study of the world around us and that we learn this through investigations.
