Today, year 5 went on a local walk to post our poetry to Benjamin Zephaniah.
During black history week, year 5 studied the life and poetry of Benjamin Zephaniah. We then wrote our own poems in a similar style and got in touch with him, to ask if we could send him our poems to read. Benjamin kindly agreed to this so today, we had a walk to a local post box to post our work to him.
