Our learning challenge this week was 'How can we make a pirate ship that floats?
Yesterday we tested lots of materials to see which would float or sink. We then discussed other criteria which was important eg. waterproof before deciding on using plastic to make our ships. This afternoon we made some fantastic pirate ships. They are now sailing away in our Science corner! Take a look at some pictures by following the link below.
