To promote vocabulary in Sheep Class we are now 'Word Catchers'. Every time we learn a new word we clap out the syllables, talk about its meaning and put it into a sentence. We then write the word on a fish and put it on our word catcher net. The children are then challenged to use the words in their play and writing.
