Fantastic Fossils!
Over the past two weeks, Year 3 have been investigating fossils. Last week, the children made their own cast fossils! Today, we excavated them and the results are fantastic! The children were so amazed by their creations.
In today’s science lesson the children investigated mould fossils – using bread and fruit gums! The children used slices of bread, to represent sedimentary rock layers. After weighting the bread down with books, the children removed the bread to see the moulds created.
