In R.E we have been learning about 'Giving'. As part of this, Miss Walton decided to set up a Reverse Advent Calendar. This shows the children that we can make a difference to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
We have asked the children to donate non-perishable food during December. The children started donating on the 3rd December and can continue to donate until 21st December. We intend to donate the food to a local good cause and we will be asking the children to be involved in writing and signing a supporting letter.
The calendar has only been running for two days and we have already filled one box! We are so grateful to all of the families that have donated so far.
