Together, we have looked at the features that a great set of instructions must include, recognised how to use imperative (bossy) verbs, with the help of Little Miss Bossy and have written our own set of instructions.

This week, we have focused on pirates. The children have followed interactive and verbal instructions, to draw and colour in their own pirate as well as, make their own pirate hat and pirate sword!

Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed creating their own hats and swords, to become pirates themselves! 

Next week, we will be looking at the story 'Beware of Boys' - from this, the children will be writing their own 'Recipe for Teacher Cake'.
