On July 3rd 2018, Stonebroom Primary School won the local schools athletic competition.
Most of the local schools took part in the competition, which included long jump, sprinting, hurdles, discus, javelin and shot put. We were able to field 2 teams. Both teams did really well, with the yellow team coming first overall with 245 points, and the white team coming 3rd overall with 213 points. The white team were only beaten to second place by Morton who earned 215 points. So close!
The trophy remains at Stonebroom!
