We have now covered the majority of Set 2 and 3 sounds in class, therefore this term we are going to have a big push on revising and securing our phoneme knowledge!

During the last parent workshop, you received a pack of Set 2 and 3 flashcards to use at home.

We know that lots of you have already been using them, so this term we would like to link it to a reward. Next week, your child will come home with a chart (like the picture attached) Every time they practice their flashcards at home, I would like an adult to pop their signature inside one of the boxes. I will then collect these on a Wednesday, alongside their phonics pet homework, and add merits to their merit cards. One box signed = 1 merit. 

Repetition of sounds really does aid their progress. I would like to thank you for all your support with their work at home and I look forward to giving out lots of merits this term!
