A few weeks ago we planted sunflower seeds and many have germinated and are growing into healthy plants. Unfortunately, some have broken but hopefully we will have plenty of beautiful sunflowers taller than us this Summer! We have been keeping a plant diary to observe their progress. We have also set up an investigation to find out what seeds need to germinate. We will be making our own sunflower seed packets to share our findings!

Note: Our final 'Reading Buddy' homework was handed out today. If pupils complete all 5 reading comprehensions by next Wednesday they can join in our class treat to reward fantastic reading work. This half-term our treat will be a Katie Morag Cooking Club. We will bake some treats just like the islanders on Struay and sample them whilst watching Katie Morag, There may even be extra to take home!
