Year 6 - Yorvik TripWow! What a great day out!
Hi all, please take a look at the year 6 'Gallery Page'. On here you will be able to see images showing our adventures in york. We visited 'The Dig' and the 'Yorvik Centre'.
We learnt about weapons skills in our first workshop, we were transported back in time at the Yorvik centre, observed the actual artifacts found at the archaeological site in the museum and we then learnt about and took part in our own dig.
It was a tiring day though! As we left the bus one child shared: "I'm going to bed at the same time as my little sister tonight! I'm exhausted!"
We all had a great day though and learnt a lot!
