Today (Thursday) the children took part in the Y6 Cricket Competition at Morton Cricket Club.
WOW! What a day! The weather was glorious, the children were superbly well behaved and they won the gold medal in the cricket competition - a first for Stonebroom Primary and Nursery School!
After winning two out of the three round robin games, the children were tied with another local school which meant there was to be a playoff. Fortunately, after some superb batting, bowling and fielding, the children won the match by 15 runs to win the competition.
Well done to everyone involved!
