Yesterday, Year 4 had an arts and crafts day, based on South America.

The children arrived to school looking fabulous, dressed in colours linked to the flags of South America. 

We learned all about the inhabitants of the Amazon Rainforest before sketching a toucan and using oil paints.

We also looked at the most well-known carnival in the world - the Brazilian Carnival. We listened and danced to some Samba music before creating our own fantastic carnival masks. 

The children had a wonderful day and produced some fantastic art and design work.
