Science- Garden Plants
In Year One, one of our Science objectives is to recognise and name a variety of garden plants. This afternoon we spent time looking in detail at the features of plants including marigolds, bellis, violas and petunias. We discussed the colours of the petals, the shapes of the leaves and the size of the flowers. We then sketched four plants using super drawing and observation skills.
