Reminder - this Thursday we will be enjoying 'Coronation Day' at Stonebroom Primary & Nursery School
Don't forget that this Thursday is 'Coronation Day' at Stonebroom Primary & Nursery School.
On Thursday your child can dress up either as royalty or can wear the colours red, white and blue. In exchange, they need to bring a donation for our colour raffle.
If your child is in nursery, they should bring a red item that can be put in a raffle (a bottle of red wine, red pringles, red gloves, red shampoo etc.)
If your child is in Reception (sheep class), they should bring a purple item (candles, vimto, pens etc)
Year 1 - blue
Year 2 - green
Year 3 - pink
Year 4 - orange
Year 5 - yellow
Year 6 - black/white
The FoS Coronation Celebration will start at 3pm on the school playground. At 3pm the car park gates to the playground will open and you can make your way to the 'pencils' where the children will be lined up in their classes. A King & Queen will be announced for each class, the class teacher will then dismiss your child into your care and you can go and enjoy the stalls & games including; tombola, cake stall, wheel of fortune, water or wine, royal coin drop and not forgetting, your favourite male teachers in the stocks.
Don't worry if you can't pick your child up at 3pm, they will be looked after by school staff in the library.
