Extreme Weather Warning Forecast15 July 2022 (by admin) |
Due to the extreme weather warning forecast for Monday & Tuesday, we have made some adjustments to the school calendar.
As you'll probably be aware, the weather forecast for the beginning of next week is hot! Temperatures are predicted to reach highs of 37 degrees. Children will have lots of opportunity to refill their drinks bottles throughout the day as we will be encouraging all of the children to drink extra to prevent dehydration. The children may be allowed out at playtime however they will be encouraged to stay in the shade as much as possible 9we will assess the situation on the day). If the sun is bright, we will bring the children inside to prevent them from being outside for long periods of time. As always, they will not be allowed outside without their sun hat (provided by school). Please ensure your child comes to school wearing sun cream - we will make sure they top up during the day using the school sun cream (factor 50).
