Yesterday we started our History unit thinking about toys from today.
We each brought in a toy from home which we shared with others. We spent time thinking about the materials they were made from and the features that they have. We also thought about why they are appealing to children and what makes them fun toys to play with. We did some super writing about our toys and then enjoyed playing with them. We saw toys from today on a timeline and we are going to now work backwards on the timeline as we learn about toys from the past. See some pictures of us and our writing by following the link below.
