In our last couple of History lessons we have been learning about the parts of a castle.
We now know some tricky vocabulary including battlements, barbican, drawbridge, arrow loops and moat! Last week we used the outdoor equipment to build a class castle and then labelled it. This week we learnt about a different type of castle- motte and bailey- and had a go in pairs at building one with lego. Take a look at some pictures by following the link below.
