In Year One we are having lots of fun revising the sounds we have learnt this year.
Yesterday we played 'pom pom phonics' We worked in pairs to hide pom poms under cups with sounds on and then our peers had to guess which cups they were under by shouting out the sounds. If they guessed correctly they could keep the pom pom. At the end of the game, those children with the most amount of pom poms got to choose a prize from our prize box! We love our fun phonics sessions.
