Having now completed the Oak Academy English Unit and acting upon the feedback received from yourselves and the children last  week, I would like to introduce our new English unit which will be based around the book, 'Goodnight Mister Tom.'

Every child in Y6 will need a copy of the book, which are currently in school - please could a member of the family pop into school at some point over the next couple of days to collect a copy of the book from the lobby area. Collection times are as follows: 

Wednesday (today) -  Now - 4pm

Thursday - 9am - 4pm

Friday 9am - 12pm

We will start using the book to support lessons from next Monday. 

Thank you very much for your help and support with this issue - I know from past experience that children really enjoy work that is based around a book.
