Always check that anything you send into school with your child does not contain nuts - this includes sanitiser products.
We have been made aware that a pupil at a local school has had an anaphylactic shock, probably due to using a sanitiser (hand cream or hand sanitiser) that contained a nut based product. We have two people in school who are allergic to nuts and who will have an anaphylactic shock if they come into contact with nuts.
Please check the ingredients of anything that you send into school with your child.
